Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

Your Membership page is where you manage your Wedy Pro subscription — view your active plan, upgrade to Pro or Elite, toggle between monthly and yearly billing, update your payment method, review billing history, and cancel if needed. All billing actions are handled through a secure billing portal.

Time to complete: 5–10 minutes.

To access your membership settings, click Account in the left sidebar, then select Membership.

Understanding the Membership page

What you see on the Membership page depends on your current subscription status:

  • Free tier / not subscribed — You'll see the Pricing view with three plan cards (Free, Pro, Elite) and a Monthly / Yearly billing toggle at the top. Click a plan card to begin checkout.

  • Active subscriber — You'll see your subscription management dashboard: your current plan with an ACTIVE badge, payment method on file, billing history table, and the option to cancel.

Wedy Pro plans

Wedy Pro offers two paid plans built for event professionals:

  • Pro — $25/month or $240/year ($20/month). The full CRM for individual vendors. Includes unlimited projects, lead management, embeddable lead forms and schedulers, smart documents with e-signatures, email and calendar sync, and automated payments.

  • Elite — $35/month or $360/year ($30/month). Everything in Pro, plus team member access with role-based permissions.

Annual billing saves you the equivalent of two months per year compared to monthly billing.

How to upgrade to Pro or Elite

  1. Navigate to Account > Membership.

  2. Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle to select your preferred billing cycle.

  3. Click the Pro or Elite plan card to begin checkout.

  4. Enter your payment details in the secure checkout form.

  5. If you have a promo code, apply it before completing your purchase.

  6. Complete the purchase. Your plan activates immediately and all included CRM features become available.

How to change your plan

You can upgrade from Pro to Elite, or downgrade from Elite to Pro, at any time after subscribing.

  1. Navigate to Account > Membership.

  2. In the Current Plan section, review your active plan, billing cycle, and renewal date.

  3. Click Change Plan. This opens the billing portal where you can select your new plan.

  4. Select the desired plan and confirm. If a change is pending, a badge will appear in your Current Plan card until it takes effect.

Note for Elite subscribers downgrading to Pro: Team member access is part of the Elite plan. If you downgrade, team members will lose their login access when the change takes effect. Your data — including work contributed by team members — is preserved. You can re-invite your team if you return to Elite.

How to switch between monthly and yearly billing

  1. Navigate to Account > Membership.

  2. In the Current Plan section, click Change Plan.

  3. In the billing portal, select the same plan at your preferred billing cycle and confirm.

How to update your payment method

Keep your billing details current to avoid any interruption to your subscription.

  1. Navigate to Account > Membership.

  2. In the Payment Method section, review your current card — including the card brand, last four digits, and expiration date.

  3. Click Update. This opens the billing portal where you can enter a new payment method.

  4. Enter your new card details and save. Your subscription will use the updated payment method from the next billing cycle.

How to view your billing history

All subscription invoices are available directly from the Membership page — useful for expense tracking and reconciling your accounts.

  1. Navigate to Account > Membership.

  2. In the Billing History section, you'll see a table of recent invoices showing the date, amount, payment status, and a View link per invoice.

  3. Click View next to an invoice to open it individually.

  4. Click View All to open the billing portal with your complete invoice history.

How to cancel your membership

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling does not cut off access immediately — you retain full plan features through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to the free tier. Your marketplace listing, packages, messages, and bookings remain available. CRM features require a paid plan.

  1. Navigate to Account > Membership.

  2. Scroll to the Cancel Membership section at the bottom of the page.

  3. Click Cancel Membership. This opens the billing portal to complete the cancellation.

  4. Confirm the cancellation. Your Membership page will update to show when your access ends, and the Cancel Membership section will no longer appear once the cancellation is scheduled.

All your data — leads, projects, documents, and everything else — is preserved. If you return, you can reactivate a paid plan at any time and pick up right where you left off.

Frequently asked questions

Who can manage the subscription and billing?

The account owner has full control over subscription management — upgrading, changing plans, updating payment methods, and cancelling. Other team roles may be able to view membership status depending on their permission settings, but billing portal actions require owner credentials.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is preserved. After cancellation, your account moves to the free tier when the billing period ends. Projects, leads, and documents are not deleted — they remain accessible again as soon as you reactivate a paid plan.

What happens if a payment fails?

If a payment fails, update your payment method from Account > Membership using the Update button in the Payment Method section. Your subscription will retry with the updated card details.

Do processing fees apply to client payments?

Yes. When clients pay through invoices or proposals, processing fees apply: 2.9% + $0.30 per credit card transaction, or 0.8% capped at $5 per bank transfer.

Can I apply a promo code to an existing subscription?

Promo codes can be applied during the initial checkout flow when you first subscribe. For questions about applying a promotion to an existing subscription, contact Wedy support.

Do subscriptions auto-renew?

Yes. Both monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To prevent renewal, cancel before your next renewal date from Account > Membership.
