Set Your Preferences and Theme

Customize your Wedy Pro display theme, timezone, and company brand colors and fonts from Account > Preferences.

Overview

The Preferences page in Wedy Pro lets you control how the platform looks and behaves for you personally — choose between light, dark, or system-matched themes, set your timezone so scheduling is always accurate, and configure your company's brand colors and fonts for documents and forms.

How to reach your Preferences

  1. Click your account icon or navigate to Account in the sidebar.

  2. In the Account sidebar, click Preferences.

  3. The Preferences page loads at Account > Preferences.


How to change your display theme

Your theme setting controls the color scheme of the Wedy Pro interface. Three options are available:

  • System — Wedy Pro automatically matches your device's light or dark mode setting. When your device switches, Wedy Pro switches with it.

  • Light — Always display the light interface, regardless of your device setting.

  • Dark — Always display the dark interface for a lower-brightness experience during late-night work sessions.

  1. On the Preferences page, locate the Theme dropdown.

  2. Click the dropdown and select System, Light, or Dark.

  3. The change applies immediately — no save button required. The interface updates as soon as you make your selection.


How to set your timezone

Your timezone setting ensures that project dates, scheduler availability, and calendar events display at the correct local time for you. If you travel or work across time zones, update this setting whenever your primary working location changes.

  1. On the Preferences page, locate the Timezone dropdown.

  2. Click the dropdown and select your timezone (for example, America/New_York or America/Los_Angeles).

  3. The timezone is saved automatically.


Note: The Timezone setting is only visible after you have completed your profile setup. If you do not see it, complete your profile first.


How to set your company brand theme

The Company Theme section lets you define your brand's visual identity for all client-facing documents and lead forms created in Wedy Pro. When you set your company theme, every new Smart Document and lead form will inherit your brand colors and fonts by default — you can still customize individual documents, but the company theme gives you a consistent starting point.


This section is visible to account owners and team members with vendor settings access. Team members with the Member or Bookkeeper role do not see Company Theme unless the owner has granted them vendor settings access.


How to customize your company theme

  1. On the Preferences page, scroll to the Company Theme section.

  2. Click Customize Theme to open the theme customizer.

  3. Adjust the following brand settings:

    • Page Color — Background color of your document pages

    • Form Color — Background color of form areas

    • Highlight Color — Accent color for highlighted elements

    • Button Color — Color of action buttons in documents and forms

    • Text Color — Primary text color

    • Heading Font — Font used for headings and titles

    • Paragraph Font — Font used for body text

  4. Save the theme. A preview of your color swatches and font selections is displayed on the Preferences page.


Your company theme will be applied as the default for all new documents and forms. You can still customize individual documents after creation.


How to reset your company theme

If you want to return to Wedy Pro's default styling, you can reset your company theme at any time. This removes all custom colors and fonts and returns documents and forms to the default appearance.

  1. On the Preferences page, scroll to the Company Theme section.

  2. Click Reset (this button only appears when a custom theme has been set).

  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Reset to Default.

  4. Your company theme is cleared and the default styling is restored.


Frequently asked questions

Do my theme and timezone settings affect other team members?


No. Theme and timezone are personal preferences — they apply only to your account. Each team member can set their own theme and timezone independently without affecting anyone else's view.


Does the company theme apply retroactively to existing documents?


No. The company theme applies to new documents and forms created after you save it. Existing documents keep their current styling. You can update individual documents from within the document editor.


I don't see a Company Theme section — why?


The Company Theme section is only visible to account owners and users who have been granted vendor settings access. If you are a team member and do not see it, ask your account owner to grant you access via Team Permissions.


I don't see a Timezone setting — why?


The Timezone dropdown only appears after your profile setup is complete. If you have not yet set up your vendor profile, complete that step first and the setting will become visible.


Where does the company theme appear?


Your company theme is applied as the default styling for Smart Documents (contracts, proposals, invoices) and lead forms. Clients see your brand colors and fonts when they open documents or fill out forms you send them.
