Overview
Wedy Pro's Calendar gives you four views — Month, Week, Day, and Year — so you can see your schedule at exactly the level of detail you need. Every event type is visible across all views: Booked Projects, Tentative Projects, CRM Meetings, Scheduler appointments, and events synced from your connected calendar.
Time to complete: 2–5 minutes.
How to Switch Calendar Views
Navigate to Calendar in the sidebar.
The calendar opens in Month view by default.
In the top-right area of the calendar header, locate the view selector — it shows the current view name (e.g., Month).
Click the view selector to open a dropdown menu showing Day, Week, Month, and Year.
Select the view you want. The calendar immediately updates to show that view for the current period.
Month View
Month view shows the entire calendar month at a glance — ideal for spotting busy weeks, identifying open dates to pitch to prospective clients, and planning your overall schedule. Each day cell shows all events scheduled on that date. Click any event to open its detail popover.
Month view is the default every time you open the Calendar page.
Week View
Week view displays a seven-day horizontal grid with time slots running vertically — giving you an hourly breakdown of each day in the week. Use this when you need to plan around specific time blocks, confirm you have enough buffer between a morning consultation and an afternoon shoot, or review a packed week before sending availability to a new lead.
Day View
Day view narrows the focus to a single day, showing every hour from top to bottom. Use this when your schedule is packed and you need a precise picture of what is happening hour by hour — back-to-back consultations, a venue walkthrough, a video call with a planner, and a dinner event all in the same day.
Year View
Year view shows all twelve months at once, with each date cell marked by dots or indicators whenever events are scheduled on that day. The density of these dots reflects how busy that date is — a single dot means one event, while multiple dots signal a packed day worth zooming into. Use this to identify patterns across the year: which months are already saturated with bookings, where slow seasons create natural gaps, and when to launch promotions or outreach campaigns to fill those windows.
To investigate any date that catches your eye in Year view, click on it — the calendar jumps to Day view for that date so you can see exactly what is scheduled. This high-level overview is especially useful for venue owners and full-service planners managing a dense event calendar who need to assess availability across an entire year at a glance.
Year view is a Wedy Pro exclusive — most competing platforms offer only Month, Week, and Day.
Navigate Between Dates
Regardless of which view you are in, three navigation controls are always available in the calendar header:
TODAY — Jumps the calendar back to the current date. Use this whenever you have navigated forward or backward and want to return to now.
Back chevron (‹) — Moves backward by one period. In Month view this goes to the previous month; in Week view to the previous week; in Day view to the previous day; in Year view to the previous year.
Forward chevron (›) — Moves forward by one period in the same way.
The current date range is always displayed in the header so you know exactly which period you are viewing.
Tips for Choosing the Right View
Use Month view for high-level schedule planning and identifying open weekends when following up with leads.
Use Week view for day-to-day time management — especially on weeks with multiple meetings, consultations, or events.
Use Day view on your busiest days to avoid double-booking and track exact start times for each commitment.
Use Year view at the start of each quarter to review your booking density and plan your marketing or promotions calendar accordingly. Watch for clusters of dots that signal your peak season and gaps that signal opportunity.
Declutter any view with the Calendars filter panel. In the left sidebar of the Calendar page, the Calendars panel is organized into three sections — Marketplace, CRM, and Schedulers. Toggle individual calendar types on or off to focus on exactly what matters in the moment. For example, hide Scheduler appointments during financial planning sessions, or show only Marketplace bookings when reviewing client commitments for a specific month.
All event types — Booked Projects, Tentative Projects, CRM Meetings, Scheduler appointments, and synced external events — are visible in every view.
Frequently asked questions
Does the calendar remember which view I was using?
The calendar opens in Month view each time you navigate to it. To return to a different view, select it from the view selector in the header.
Can I see my external calendar events in all views?
Yes. Once you connect your calendar in Account > Integrations, synced external events appear in every calendar view — Month, Week, Day, and Year. External calendar events are read-only in Wedy Pro — to edit or delete them, return to your external calendar. You can toggle the Busy/Free status on events from your primary connected calendar.
What does the timezone indicator in the header show?
The globe icon next to the current date displays your configured timezone. All event times are shown in that timezone. To change your timezone, go to Account > Preferences.
Can I click on an event in any view?
Yes. Clicking any event in any view opens its detail popover. From there you can navigate to the linked Project, join a video meeting, edit a CRM meeting, or reschedule a Scheduler booking.
