About the Educator Program
The Wedy Educator Program is an invite-only referral track for the people who introduce Wedy to a wider audience: coaches, course creators, and community leaders who mentor, teach, or support other wedding and event professionals. Educators make more per referral than Members, earn volume bonuses that grow as they refer, and have no earnings cap.
Every Wedy vendor starts on the Member track. Educator is the next step up for high-volume referrers, and it's earned by application. To see how the base program works, start with How the Wedy referral program works and what you can earn.
What Educators earn
Educators earn a higher base reward and tiered volume bonuses on top:
$200 per annual referral and $100 per monthly referral.
+$25 per referral for your 6th through 25th referral.
+$50 per referral for your 26th through 50th.
+$75 per referral for your 51st through 100th.
+$100 per referral for every referral beyond 100.
Because the bonuses compound with volume and there's no cap, earnings scale quickly. As a benchmark, 150 referrals projects to about $40,500. The person you refer still gets the same welcome discount: 2 months off their first year on an annual plan, or 30% off their first 2 months on a monthly plan.
Who qualifies
To be eligible to apply, you need to refer 5 or more vendors who become paid subscribers within a 12-month period. Once you've hit that threshold as the account owner, you can apply from the Educator program page, where you'll see the option to Become an educator.
If you haven't reached the threshold yet, the page shows how close you are: "Refer 5 vendors who stay subscribed within 12 months to apply." Keep sharing your link, and the option opens up once you qualify.
How to apply
Applying takes a minute and is reviewed by the Wedy team:
Open Refer & Earn and click Educator program in the top-right corner.
On the Educator page, click Become an educator.
In the Apply for educator window, tell us why you'd be a great educator. Your application is sent from your connected email.
Click Send application. The button changes to Application sent once it's on its way.
The Wedy team reviews every application and grants Educator status manually. There's no instant activation. Once you're approved, an Educator badge appears beside the Refer and Earn heading on your dashboard, and your higher rewards apply going forward.
Keeping your Educator status
Educator status is ongoing as long as you stay active. To keep it, maintain at least 5 successful referrals per year. If your referrals fall below that over a rolling 12-month period, your account returns to the Member track. You can requalify and apply again at any time.

Educators get more than higher rewards. Your Educator badge shows next to the dashboard heading, and you track every referral against the tiered reward ladder in the same Refer & Earn dashboard everyone uses, with your Educator rates applied automatically.
