Overview
Packages are your service offerings on Wedy Pro — and more than that, they are your marketplace listings on Wedy App (wedyapp.com), where clients browse, compare, and book event vendors. Every package you create becomes a visual card that prospective clients can discover, so the quality and completeness of each listing directly affects your bookings.
The package creation wizard walks you through three focused steps: your core details, your service specifics, and your payment schedule. Once created, your package starts as Unlisted — you control exactly when it goes live on the marketplace.
Time to complete: 10–20 minutes.
Before you begin
To start creating packages, navigate to Your packages in the sidebar under the Marketplace section. Click Create Package in the top-right corner of the page. On mobile, this appears as a + icon.
You'll move through three steps. You can navigate back using the Back button at any point before the final step.
Step 1 — Create your package
The first step covers the essential details that define your package on the marketplace.
Cover Photo — Upload a high-quality photo that represents this package. Your cover photo is the first thing clients see when browsing on Wedy App. A high-quality cover photo can increase your bookings by up to 40%. This field is required.
Package Title — Enter a clear, descriptive name for this package. Keep it simple: what the service is, and any key distinguishing detail (e.g., "Full-Day Wedding Photography" or "Premium Florals Package").
Base Price — Set the price for this package. The minimum is $50. On Wedy, the base price is meant to be the true total cost of the package — not a "starting at" figure. This transparency is intentional: clients on the marketplace can book with confidence, knowing exactly what they'll pay.
Duration & Timing — Set the base duration of the service in hours. If you offer additional hours at an hourly rate, enter that rate here as well. If extra hours are not available, leave the additional hour rate field empty or set it to 0.
When all four fields are complete, click Next to continue to Step 2.
Step 2 — Package details
Step 2 is where you define the specifics of what your service includes, who it serves, and how clients will find it on the marketplace.
Guest Range — Enter the minimum and maximum number of guests your package can accommodate. This information is used for marketplace filtering, so clients searching for a vendor who can serve their guest count will find your listing.
Service Details — Add everything that's part of this package.
What's Included — List every deliverable that is part of the base package price. Click Add Included Service to add each item. At least one included service is required to move forward. You can add a title, a delivery date (e.g., "at the event" or "within two weeks"), and reorder items via drag and drop.
Add-Ons — Optional extras that clients can add to customize the package. Click Add Optional Service to create an add-on with a title and an additional cost. Add-ons appear to clients on the marketplace as optional line items they can select when booking.
Package Description — Write a description that communicates what makes this package special. Explain your approach, what clients can expect, and any details that aren't captured in the structured fields above.
Occasion & Styles — Select the primary occasion type this package is designed for and any relevant style tags.
Occasion (select one): Engagement, Wedding, Elopements, Rehearsals & Parties, Destination, Other
Styles (select multiple): Artistic, Classic, Bohemian, Adventure, Fine Art, Editorial, Documentary, Dramatic, Lifestyle, Modern, Vintage
Team Members (optional) — If you have team members you'd like to associate with this package, add their names here. This section is optional and can be updated later. Note that team member functionality is available on the Elite plan.
When your details are complete, click Next to proceed to Step 3.
Step 3 — Payment Schedule
The final step defines how clients pay for your package.
Choose between collecting the full amount upfront (100%) or splitting payment into multiple milestone payments. For example, you might collect a deposit at booking and the remainder closer to the event date. The default is full payment upfront.
Once you've configured your payment schedule, click Create Package. Your package is created and you are returned to your packages list.
Processing fees apply to all payments collected through Wedy: 2.9% + $0.30 per credit card transaction, or 0.8% capped at $5 per bank transfer. Factor these into your pricing when setting your base price.
What happens after you create a package
Your new package is created with Unlisted status by default. This means it is saved in your account but is not yet visible to clients on the Wedy App marketplace — it cannot be discovered or booked until you publish it.
From your packages list, click into the package at any time to edit any section. Each detail (cover photo, name, price, duration, guest range, service details, description, occasion & styles, team members, and payment schedule) can be updated individually. Note that once a package has active bookings, Service Details and Team Members become locked to protect clients who have already booked.
When you're ready to go live, set the package to Listed via Package Settings. See Manage and Publish Your Packages for a full walkthrough of listing status and marketplace visibility.

Tips for a strong package listing
Lead with your best photo — Your cover image is the first impression on the marketplace. Use a professionally edited, high-resolution photo that represents the experience you deliver.
Price transparently — Wedy's platform philosophy is that the base price is the true total, not a teaser. Clients appreciate knowing exactly what they'll pay — it builds trust and leads to higher-quality inquiries.
Be specific with service details — "8 hours of coverage, 600 edited photos delivered within 3 weeks" is far more compelling than "photography package." The more specific your included services, the more confidently a client can book.
Use occasion types and styles strategically — Clients filter the marketplace by occasion and style. Select every applicable style tag to maximize your visibility in relevant searches.
Set a realistic guest range — Clients filter by guest count. If your package works for any size event, set a wide range. If it's designed for intimate gatherings, set a narrower range to attract the right clients.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum price for a package?
Yes. The minimum base price is $50.
Can I create multiple packages?
Yes. You can create as many packages as you need. Each package is a separate listing on the marketplace with its own cover photo, pricing, and details. Navigate to Your packages and click Create Package to start a new one at any time.
Why can't I edit my service details after the package has bookings?
Once a client has booked a package, the service details and team member list are locked to protect the scope of service they agreed to. If you need to offer different services, create a new package.
Do I need Vendor Collective verification for my packages to appear on the marketplace?
Yes. Packages must be set to Listed status, and your profile must be approved through the Vendor Collective verification process before your listings appear to clients on Wedy App. See Vendor Collective Verification to learn more about the approval process.
Can I offer the same package at different price points?
Each package has a single base price. To offer different tiers, create separate packages — for example, a standard package and a premium package — each with its own pricing, included services, and add-ons.
