Manage and Publish Your Packages

Learn how to view, edit, publish, and delete packages in Wedy Pro. Control which packages appear on the Wedy App marketplace.

Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

Once you have created packages in Wedy Pro, this guide covers everything you need to manage them day-to-day: browsing your library, editing package details, controlling marketplace visibility through Listing Status, and removing packages you no longer offer.

Every package starts as Unlisted after creation — it will not appear on the Wedy App marketplace until you explicitly set it to Listed. This gives you full control over what clients can discover and book.

Time to complete: 5–10 minutes.

How to view your packages

  1. Navigate to Your packages in the sidebar (under the Marketplace section).

  2. Your packages are displayed as visual cards by default, showing each package's cover photo, title, price, and listing status.

  3. To switch to a table view, click the list icon button in the top-right area of the page.

  4. Scroll down to load more packages — the list loads 15 at a time.

How to filter and sort your packages

Use the filter and sort controls to find packages quickly, especially as your catalog grows.

  1. On the Your packages page, click the Filter button.

  2. A filter sheet opens with the following options:

    • Sort order — Choose from Newest to Oldest, Oldest to Newest, Oldest Updated, or Newest Updated.

    • Published only — Toggle on to show only packages currently set to Listed.

    • Occasion — Multi-select to filter by occasion type (e.g., Wedding, Engagement, Elopements).

  3. To reset your choices, click Clear Filters.

How to edit a package

You can update any section of a package at any time from the package detail view. Each section — cover photo, price, service details, description, and more — is edited independently.

  1. Navigate to Your packages in the sidebar.

  2. Click any package card to open it.

  3. On desktop, the package detail view opens with a sidebar listing all editable sections: Cover Photo, Package Name, Base Price, Duration + Extra Hours, Guest Range, Service Details, Package Description, Occasion & Styles, Team Members (Optional), and Payment Schedule.

  4. Click any section to open its edit form.

  5. Make your changes and click Save.

Important: If a package already has active bookings from clients, the Service Details and Team Members sections become locked and cannot be edited. This protects clients who have already booked that package from scope changes. All other sections remain editable.

How to publish or unpublish a package

Listing Status controls whether your package appears on the Wedy App marketplace and can be booked by clients. You can change this at any time — the update takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the package you want to update from Your packages.

  2. In the package detail view, click the Package Settings button (the settings icon in the package header).

  3. A drawer opens titled Package Settings. Click Listing Status.

  4. You are taken to the Listing Status page with two options:

    • Listed — Your package appears in search results on the Wedy App marketplace and can be booked by clients.

    • Unlisted — Your package is hidden from search results and cannot be booked. Use this to pause a listing temporarily without deleting it.

  5. Click Listed or Unlisted to apply your selection. No Save button is required — the status updates immediately.

Note: Setting a package to Listed makes it discoverable on the marketplace. However, your packages only appear to clients on Wedy App once your vendor profile has been verified through the Vendor Collective. If you have not yet applied, see Apply for Vendor Collective Verification.

How to preview your package on Wedy App

Once a package is Listed, you can preview exactly how it appears to clients on the marketplace.

  1. Open the package from Your packages.

  2. Click Package Settings in the package header.

  3. In the Package Settings drawer, click View Public Package Link.

  4. The package listing opens on Wedy App in a new browser tab, showing the client-facing view.

The View Public Package Link option is only visible when the package is set to Listed.

How to delete a package

Delete a package to permanently remove it from Wedy Pro. This cannot be undone.

  1. Open the package from Your packages.

  2. Click Package Settings in the package header.

  3. In the Package Settings drawer, click Delete Package.

  4. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation modal.

  5. The package is permanently removed and you are returned to the Your packages list.

If you want to temporarily hide a package rather than delete it, set it to Unlisted instead. You can re-list it at any time.

Understanding marketplace visibility

Two conditions must be true for a package to appear to clients on the Wedy App marketplace:

  • Listing Status is Listed — You have set the package to Listed in Package Settings.

  • Vendor Collective verification is approved — Your vendor profile has been reviewed and accepted into the Vendor Collective. Wedy hand-selects vendors through a vetting process — profiles are not automatically live. See Apply for Vendor Collective Verification for how to apply.

If both conditions are met, your package is live and bookable. Clients can find it when browsing the Wedy App marketplace and submit booking requests directly from your listing.

Tips for managing your package catalog

  • Keep cover photos fresh — Your cover photo is the first thing clients see on the marketplace. A high-quality image can significantly increase booking inquiries. Update yours whenever you have new portfolio work that represents the package well.

  • Use Occasion & Styles to reach the right clients — Accurate occasion and style tags help clients filter to packages that match their event. Review these tags if a package is getting low visibility.

  • Unpublish instead of deleting seasonal packages — If you offer packages for specific seasons or event types that are temporarily unavailable, set them to Unlisted rather than deleting them. You preserve all the details and can re-list with one click when you are ready to accept bookings again.

  • Review your base price regularly — Your base price on Wedy is meant to reflect the true total cost of the package — not a "starting at" figure. Transparent pricing builds trust with clients and reduces back-and-forth before booking.

  • Factor in payment processing fees — When setting your base price, remember that card payments carry a 2.9% + $0.30 fee, and ACH bank transfers carry a 0.8% fee capped at $5. Price your packages so your take-home matches your expectations.

  • Check your Home dashboard for a quick catalog overview — The Packages widget on your Wedy Pro Home dashboard gives you an at-a-glance summary of your package catalog, including how many packages are listed and unlisted. It is a fast way to spot whether a newly created package has been published without navigating to the full Packages page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit a package that already has bookings?

Partially. If a package has active bookings, the Service Details and Team Members sections are locked to protect clients who have already booked based on those terms. You can still edit the cover photo, package name, base price, duration, guest range, description, occasion and styles, and payment schedule.

Will clients who already booked be affected if I change the price or description?

Editing a package updates the listing going forward. For questions about how changes affect an active booking, contact Wedy support.

What happens to a package's bookings if I delete it?

Deleting a package removes it from your catalog and from the marketplace. If you have active bookings for this package, contact Wedy support for guidance on how to manage them.

Can I have some packages listed and others unlisted at the same time?

Yes. Each package has its own independent Listing Status. You can have a mix of listed and unlisted packages in your catalog — for example, keeping your core offerings listed while keeping a new package unlisted while you finalize the details.

How do clients find and book my packages?

Once your profile is verified and a package is set to Listed, clients browsing the Wedy App marketplace can discover your profile, view your packages, and submit a booking request. That request appears in your Wedy Pro Bookings section, where you manage it through each stage of the booking workflow.

How many packages can I create?

There is no stated limit on the number of packages you can create. You can list as many service offerings as you need to represent your business on the marketplace.
