Upload and Manage Portfolio Photos

Learn how to upload, reorder, and manage portfolio photos on your Wedy Pro profile to showcase your work and attract more bookings on the marketplace.

Overview

Your portfolio is the visual centerpiece of your Wedy Pro marketplace listing. When potential clients browse vendors on the Wedy App, your portfolio photos are the first thing they see — and often the deciding factor in whether they reach out. A strong portfolio that showcases a range of your best work across different events, styles, and venues builds trust and drives bookings.

Wedy Pro requires a minimum of 5 portfolio photos (up to 20) to publish your listing. This ensures every vendor on the marketplace presents a professional, well-rounded body of work. The first photo in your portfolio becomes your primary display image in marketplace search results, so choose your strongest shot for that position.

Time to complete: 5–10 minutes.

How to upload photos to your portfolio

  1. Click Profile in the sidebar under the Marketplace section.

  2. Select the Portfolio tab from the sidebar navigation on the left side of the page. On mobile, tap Portfolio from the tab navigation.

  3. Click the upload button (or the + icon on mobile) to add a photo.

  4. Select an image file from your device — it opens in a crop modal where you can adjust the image before adding it to your portfolio.

  5. Repeat until you have at least 5 photos. You can upload up to a maximum of 20.

  6. Click Save in the top-right corner to save your portfolio.

A wedding photographer in Austin, for example, might upload a mix of ceremony shots, reception details, couple portraits, and venue exteriors to show prospective clients the full scope of their style and capabilities.

How to reorder your portfolio photos

The order of your portfolio photos matters — the first photo becomes the cover image that represents your business in marketplace search results. Arrange your photos to lead with your most compelling shot and tell a visual story of your work.

  1. On desktop, drag photos within the grid to rearrange them. On mobile, press and hold a photo, then drag it to the desired position.

  2. To quickly set a photo as your cover image, tap (mobile) or right-click (desktop) on a photo to open the context menu, then select Make Cover. This moves the photo to the first position.

  3. To shift a photo one position forward, open the context menu and select Move Forward.

  4. Click Save to save the new order.

How to delete a portfolio photo

  1. Tap (mobile) or right-click (desktop) on the photo you want to remove to open the context menu.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Click Save to confirm the change.

Keep in mind that your listing requires a minimum of 5 photos. If removing a photo would drop you below 5, the Save button is disabled until you upload a replacement.

Tips for a compelling portfolio

  • Lead with your best — Your cover photo is what clients see first in marketplace search results. Choose a shot that immediately communicates your style and quality.

  • Show range — Include photos from different events, venues, and lighting conditions. A florist might showcase centerpieces, bouquets, ceremony arches, and reception installations across both indoor and outdoor settings.

  • Keep it current — Replace older work with recent projects that reflect your current style and capabilities.

  • Think like a client — Clients browsing the marketplace are evaluating whether your aesthetic fits their vision. Include the types of events and settings you want to book more of.

  • Quality over quantity — Five exceptional photos make a stronger impression than twenty average ones. Curate carefully.

Your portfolio during onboarding

If you are setting up your Wedy Pro account for the first time, you will add portfolio photos during Step 4 of the onboarding flow. If you used the AI-guided onboarding, some of your profile details may already be filled in from your conversation. You need at least 5 photos to complete onboarding and create your profile. You can always return to the Portfolio tab later to add, remove, or reorder photos.
