About your Wedy Pro dashboard
Your Wedy Pro dashboard is the central command center for your event business. Every time you log in, the Home page greets you with a real-time snapshot of your leads, documents, earnings, calendar, and more — all in one place. Whether you are a wedding photographer tracking new inquiries or a florist monitoring upcoming bookings, the dashboard surfaces the information that matters most so you can start your day with confidence.
To reach your dashboard at any time, click Home in the sidebar — it is always the first item at the top.
Your personalized greeting and profile card
At the top of the dashboard, Wedy Pro greets you by name with a time-based message — Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening, or Hello — followed by the subtitle Here's what's happening with your business today. (On mobile, the subtitle is shortened to Here's what's happening today.)
Beside the greeting sits your profile card — a premium glass-style card displaying your avatar, business category, business name, verification badge, and location. This gives you an at-a-glance view of how your marketplace presence looks to the Wedy team. If you have been verified through the Vendor Collective, a verification badge appears next to your business name.
Your business snapshot — top stats bar
Directly below the greeting, three animated stat cards give you a quick pulse on your business:
New Leads — The total number of new leads you have received this calendar month. Hover over the info icon to see the tooltip: Total new leads received this month.
Action Items — The combined count of invoices paid and contracts signed by your clients in the last 30 days. This tells you how many client actions have moved forward recently.
Earnings — Your year-to-date payment total, displayed in a compact format (for example, $1.2K or $12K). This keeps your financial health visible at all times.
Each stat card animates from zero to its final value when the page loads, giving the dashboard a polished, dynamic feel.
Quick-action buttons
In the top-right area of the dashboard header (or as a horizontal scroll row on mobile), you will find quick-action buttons that help you set up key integrations without leaving the Home page:
Sync Email — Initiates the email connection flow. Once your email is connected, this button changes to a green checkmark labeled Email Synced.
Set Calendar — Initiates the calendar connection flow. Once connected, the button changes to a green checkmark labeled Calendar Set.
Widgets — Opens the Widget Customizer modal where you can rearrange, add, or remove dashboard widgets. This button is available on desktop only.
For a complete guide on connecting your email and calendar, see Connect Your Email Account and Connect Your Calendar.
Dashboard widgets overview
The main body of your dashboard is a responsive grid of customizable widgets. On desktop, widgets display in a three-column layout; on tablet, two columns; and on mobile, a single column. Each widget loads its own data as you scroll to it, so the page stays fast even with many widgets active.
Widgets come in two sizes — small (one column wide) and large (two columns wide). You can control which widgets appear, their order, and their size through the Widgets button. For a step-by-step guide, see Customize Your Dashboard Widgets.
By default, Wedy Pro shows a curated set of widgets: Create New, Calendar, Activity, Smart Documents, Unread Emails, Earnings, Recent Leads, and Onboarding. Additional widgets — including Bookings, Automations, Recent Templates, Messages, Balances, and Packages — can be added at any time through the Widget Customizer. If you do not see a particular widget on your dashboard, it may simply need to be added.
If you are an account owner with a connected payment account, a notification banner may appear at the top of your widget grid alerting you to payment-related actions that need your attention, such as identity verification or payout issues.
Here is every widget available on your dashboard:
Create New widget
The Create New widget gives you one-tap access to create items without navigating away from the dashboard. It displays a grid of circular icon buttons:
Lead — Opens the new lead form
Project — Opens the Create Project modal
Invoice — Opens the template selection for invoices
Contract — Opens the template selection for contracts
Meeting — Opens the Create Meeting modal
Lead form — Opens the lead form template selector
For example, a wedding planner who just received a phone inquiry can click Lead to capture the contact details immediately, without switching pages. Each button is permission-gated — if a team member does not have access to a particular feature, they will see a No create access message instead.
Calendar widget
The Calendar widget shows your upcoming events — including projects with dates set, tentative marketplace bookings, meetings, scheduler appointments, and synced external calendar events. The first event appears as a featured card with a prominent date box, and additional events are listed below.
Your timezone is displayed in the widget header, and a View Calendar link at the bottom takes you to the full Calendar page.
Activity widget
The Activity widget displays the five most recent notifications across your account — new leads, document views, payments received, and more. Each item shows an icon, title, optional body text, and timestamp. Unread items are marked with a blue dot so you can quickly spot what needs attention.
Smart Documents widget
The Smart Documents widget surfaces your recent documents. In large view, it offers tabs for Proposals, Contracts, Invoices, Questionnaires, and Custom with a table showing document details and status badges (Draft, Sent, Viewed, Completed, Expired). In small view, the three most recent documents appear in a compact list.
Click View All Documents to navigate to the full Documents section.
Unread Emails widget
The Unread Emails widget shows unread messages from your connected email account. Each email displays the sender's avatar, name, subject line, body preview, timestamp, and an attachment indicator when applicable. A badge in the widget header shows your total unread count.
When you have no unread emails, the widget displays All caught up! — a satisfying confirmation that your inbox is clear. Click View All Emails to open the full email view.
Earnings widget
The Earnings widget provides a financial overview with three metric cards. If you have funds currently in transit to your bank, the widget shows In Transit, Last 30 Days Payout, and Last 30 Days Payments. Otherwise, it shows Last 30 Days Payout, Last 30 Days Payments, and Last Year Payments. Each card includes a colored indicator bar for at-a-glance comparison.
If your payment account is not yet connected, the widget prompts you with a Connect Payment Account button. Click View Payment Dashboard to see full details on the Payments page.
Recent Leads widget
The Recent Leads widget shows up to three of your most recent lead form submissions with each lead's name, email, avatar initials, and the date they were captured. Clicking a lead takes you directly to their detail page in the CRM.
If no leads have come in yet, the widget displays Leads from your forms will appear here. Click View All Leads to open the full Leads page.
Bookings widget
The Bookings widget shows marketplace bookings from clients who found you on the Wedy App. In large view, it features tabs — Active, Drafts, Inquiry, Signature, In progress, and Completed (with a More dropdown for Rejected) — alongside a table with columns for Client Name, Package, Status, and Payout. In small view, a compact list of active bookings is shown.
Note: Bookings are separate from Projects in the CRM. Bookings originate from the Wedy App marketplace, while Projects are client relationships you manage directly. Click View All Bookings to see the full list.
Automations widget
The Automations widget keeps you on top of your automated workflows with two tabs: Pending (runs waiting for your approval) and Activity (recent run history). Each run shows its status — Needs Approval, In Progress, Completed, Failed, Cancelled, or Expired — along with the automation name and timestamp. Click View All Automations to manage your workflows.
Additional widgets
Several more widgets are available to add through the Widget Customizer:
Recent Templates — Shows your recently updated email and document templates with type labels and timestamps. Click View All Templates to browse your full library.
Messages — Displays recent marketplace conversations with client avatars, latest message previews, and unread count badges. Click View All Messages to open the full Messages inbox.
Balances — Shows your payment account balance. If your payment account is not yet connected, a button to connect your payment account appears.
Packages — Highlights your top-performing packages with thumbnail images, titles, and base prices. Click View All Packages to manage all your listings on the Packages page.
The onboarding checklist
If you are new to Wedy Pro and have not yet completed your initial setup, an Onboarding widget appears on your dashboard. It shows a five-step checklist with your progress displayed as a fraction (for example, 2/5):
Complete Profile — Set up your basic business information
Create Your First Package — Add your services and pricing
Connect Email Account — Link your email to communicate with clients
Enable Payments — Set up your payment account to receive bookings
Get Verified — Begin the Vendor Collective verification process
Completed steps show a green checkmark and are struck through, while the current step is highlighted and clickable. Once all five steps are complete, the Onboarding widget automatically disappears and is replaced by the Calendar widget.
For a full walkthrough, see Getting Started Checklist.
Team member access
If you have team members on your account, each person sees only the widgets they have permission to access. Widgets for features outside a team member's role display a lock icon with No Access in the Widget Customizer. Each team member also has their own independent widget layout preferences — rearranging or hiding widgets on one account does not affect another team member's view.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get to the dashboard?
Click Home in the sidebar — it is always the first item at the top of the navigation. You can return to the dashboard from anywhere in Wedy Pro.
Can I customize which widgets appear on my dashboard?
Yes. Click the Widgets button in the top-right corner of the dashboard header (desktop only) to open the Widget Customizer. From there you can drag to reorder widgets, remove them, or add new ones from the full widget catalog. For details, see Customize Your Dashboard Widgets.
What is the difference between the Bookings widget and the Projects widget on the sidebar?
The Bookings dashboard widget shows marketplace bookings — these are clients who discovered and booked your services through the Wedy App. Projects in the CRM sidebar are client relationships you manage directly (often converted from leads). They live in different parts of the platform and serve different stages of the client journey. Learn more in Understanding Projects.
Why do I see demo data on my dashboard?
If you have not yet completed your vendor profile, the dashboard shows sample data to give you a preview of how it will look once your account is fully set up. Clicking on any demo item opens a prompt encouraging you to complete your profile. Once you finish onboarding, the demo data is replaced with your real business information.
Do my team members see the same dashboard layout as me?
No. Each team member has their own independent widget layout preferences. They will only see widgets for features they have been granted access to. Widgets outside their permissions show a lock icon.
